Expanding the Vessel, Dispersing the Clouds, Living in the Light

My current tagline is “live in your light” or some variation of this to include the frequency as always or daily. As part of solidifying my life purpose, I have moved into a deeper belief and acceptance that I can see lightness and darkness around or within people. The more I tune into this ability, the more I find myself seeking safety from the darker clouds that tend to envelop others.

Layered with this “sight” is also a desire to understand more deeply the reasons for the clouds that gather so that I can work towards spreading the light to disperse the clouds whilst supporting and encouraging ownership, acknowledgement and acceptance for those clouds. It’s not that the clouds should never exist, but just like real clouds, they can be happy, fluffy, white ones rather than the dark ominous stormy ones.

Also, as I prepare to enter my next decade in a month, I have been actively working on how to expand my cup to have a larger capacity and make space for and hold that which I can with more empathy, more compassion, more humility, more kindness, and a little bit less judgement. It’s a confusing task. Someone said to me that it seemed exhausting, but it’s not really. It’s something I do, have always done, and honestly, enjoy doing.

Personal development, self-growth, and expansion of the ability to be human is one of my favorite pastimes, thought topics and experiments. Without this, I struggle to find a reason for humans to exist. While there are many reasons to be down about mankind or the lack of kind man, as it may seem these days, I hold out hope that humanity can rise above and out of the mire. Really, there is no other way to view the world, is there? Otherwise, it’s truly a dark and doomed reality. So, if I want people as a whole or the individuals I know to improve their own presence in the world, then I also have to walk the walk as much as I talk the talk.

Therefore, I have been really thinking about a lot of different things lately. The buzz of the city gave me a lot of brain movement to ponder more deeply, which inspires me to do more things, create more projects for myself, etc.

So, watch this space for developments as I’ve got a few project ideas that are really percolating. In the meantime, I will continue to talk to a therapist. She provides me with a neutral space as someone who knows nothing more about me than what I have told her and gives me feedback on my thoughts from that neutrality. I also keep reading my variety of books whether fiction or nonfiction on topics that will keep expanding my way of thinking. I am also in the process of defining my circle of friends and acquaintances to ensure that I am surrounding myself with those whom we can mutually lift each other up to vibrate higher and always live in our lights.

Every day is a new one. Opportunities to grow as a human present themselves everywhere. It’s really just a matter of keeping our eyes open and allowing ourselves to see them. We are magnificent creatures when we choose to be–like all living beings that we may come across in the world:  trees, plants, birds, animals, fish, etc. Truly, we need to set our bar higher again. Raise standards, live by them, and spread the light.
