Although you will read this as a new post, I am writing this on a Google Doc since I have finally taken the plunge to update my blog behind the scenes. You may notice a bit different font, coloring, overall view…or you may not!

While I know just enough technical bits to get myself in trouble, I do not know enough to update my PHP and theme to avoid removing all of my content on this site completely. (I tried multiple times!) Therefore, I decided it was time to hire someone who does this kind of work for a living so that I can do what I do. We all have our zone of geniuses and I am coming to appreciate that even if I am a “Jill of All Trades, Master of None”, I don’t need to try to master what is not in my wheelhouse.

So, welcome to the new looking blog! I hope you like it and that the new “Subscribe” button will function properly enough for you to stay updated when I do post here, which I hope will be the more regular space for my random thoughts and overshares. 

As my recent Substack post covers, I am working on streamlining my writing spaces while also cross-pollinating access to what I am sharing in the world since I am looking to start building up my book coaching work to encourage more dreamers as well as established writers to share their stories. Also, I’ll  be offering more in terms of the writing process that includes editing and discussions on the craft itself. However, I want to be sure not to get ahead of myself here, so for now, I’m working toward preparing the online spaces so that when content is ready to be shared, it will be easy to disseminate and reach those who are open to receiving it. 

How have I gone about doing this? 

Well, I have hired a virtual assistant! Although I do not necessarily need someone to organize my schedule or travels, etc. I do need someone to manage the online spaces because I don’t really want to spend my time there. So, hopefully, this will be a positive-resulting decision. You can let me know regarding my first step, and share what you think of the new theme and layout, if you used to visit before, and remember what it used to look like. If not, here’s a screendshot of the before.
